This is my sweet daughter Lilyan.

She helps me teach the kids their memory 

verse.

I am the way, 

the truth,

 the life, 

that's what Jesus Said;

John 14:6

We usually practice our verse during class.

Then I will send them home with a print out.

I also will send a video to parents with a catchy

song and hand motions to help them.

Parents really liked the video and said

that it was the best to help their kids learn.

Kite Attendance Chart!

We use Attendance Charts in our Class to help

encourage good attendance and there's always

a REWARD!

Cross Attendance Tracker

I made up these Cross tokens for the kids to add 

to the attendance board every Sunday they came.

Where kids cannot be responsible for attendance.

We decided that once they got 4 tokens on their

kite tail, they get a prize!

I lamented the Cross Tokens, and added Velcro

dots to the kite tail as well as the tokens.

We enjoyed coloring these kites (Yes even me 😉)

After they finished we placed them on the

board and added a token.

Who Is Jesus?

Hi Everyone! For todays post I would like to share

 our last quarters lesson. Our theme of the month 

was on Who Jesus is. This is a perfect lesson for

kids who are new to Sunday School, as well as a

review lesson (we all need a little reminding of this

sometimes)

Who is Jesus Focus Board

I like to create what I call a "Focus Board" at the beginning of every lesson.

I think it really gets us in the mind of what we are learning.

I created the Who is Jesus heading for my board

and the question marks. And the detective

clipart is from here.

Bible Detective Badges with little magnifying glasses.

We became Bible Detectives during Sunday School

and got our Bible Detective Badges and

our little magnifying glasses so we could play

detectives while learning our bible story.

Clue Box

After we do welcome and take attendance. We come
to the carpet and everyone gets their detective gear.
I put a Clue in the box above and the kids would
try to guess what we were learning that day based off the Clue.
Then we went to the Bible for the evidence.

Who is Jesus? By going to the Bible.
